Chocolate Clusters with a Twist
Need a simple chocolate snack? These delicious chocolate clusters use only 5 ingredients and are easy to make and super tasty! You may even have the 5 ingredients in your pantry already.
A couple years ago I was busy fixing some finger foods for a work get together. For several of the dishes, I had been to the store and picked up the necessary ingredients. As I was preparing the foods, I noticed that I still had some leftover ingredients in my pantry that I really wanted to use. Thus, these Chocolate Clusters with a Twist were created.
Honestly, since this was just a concoction of sweet stuff I didn’t know what to expect. Boy was I surprised! It turns out that these clusters were the hit of the party! Everyone loved them and wanted to know what was in them and how they were made
5 Ingredient Chocolate Clusters Recipe
I am a big fan of 6 ingredient or less recipes. This one definitely makes the cut. It uses ingredients I usually have in my pantry (well the marshmallows are only an occasional item, but they are there more often than not) and comes together in no time at all.
Needless to say, I make these Chocolate Clusters all of the time now. Preferably when we are having guests over or when I need to take a goodie to someone else’s house. They are too tempting to just sit at our house. Way too many will get eaten by me.
These Chocolate Clusters are super easy to make. I’m also a big fan of simple recipes. Again, this recipe fits the bill. It takes only 1 pan and they come together in no time at all.
Here’s the recipe:
———————
Chocolate Clusters with a Twist
4 ounces chocolate flavor candy bark, break it into just a couple of pieces
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Put these 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan and cook on low until the ingredients are melted. Be sure to stir often once they begin to melt. Once they are melted together, remove the pan from the heat.
Add 3 cups miniature marshmallows and ¾ cup of dry roasted peanuts to the melted chocolate/peanut butter mixture. Mix until the marshmallow and peanuts are coated.
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Drop the mixture by heaping tablespoons onto the waxed paper.
Chill these in the frig for about ½ hour or till set.
That’s all. They are ready to serve.
